Far 20 Km from Cava de' Tirreni, Maiori has the longest beach of the entire Amalfi Coast, characterized by dark sand of volcanic origin and a smaller beach (about 200 m), in the hamlet of Erchie as well as various smaller coves such as the Beach of Glauco, Capo d'Orso or Cala Bellavia.
In the common area there are also other places of natural interest such as the Grotta di Pandora.
A rich artistic heritage welcomes tourists who can range from the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria a Mare to the Sanctuary of Avvocata, from the Castles of San Nicola de ThoroPlano and Miramare to the Church of San Francesco with the adjoining convent.
